important: twitter’s oauth switch

as previously announced, twitter today switched to a new authentication system for all client applications. in order to use twidroyd after 08/16 you have to use version 3.4.2 or above. however, for the best possible experience we recommend to always use the most recent release.

web/image preview on 3.4.0

we’ve received a couple of tickets from users who can’t display images or links in the in-app preview window. this is caused by a dark spinning wheel that’s not clearly visible in bright sunlight, thus suggesting that the loading process has stalled, which in fact progresses as normal (and slow if you’re on an edge connection and opening a large image or web site). we will however ship a visual fix tomorrow 07/08.
